This page explains how content on AllBetaInfo is researched, verified, and maintained. It exists so readers know exactly what standard every article is held to.
Who Writes This Site
All content on AllBetaInfo is written by Axad Malik. There is no anonymous or outsourced content published on this site. Read more about the site and its purpose on the About page.
How a Feature Gets Covered
- Detection. A new feature is identified through WhatsApp’s official beta channel, Meta’s own announcements, or WABetaInfo’s beta-tracking coverage.
- Verification. Wherever possible, the feature is installed and tested directly on a real device before anything is written. Screenshots on this site are original unless a source is explicitly credited.
- Sourcing. Every factual claim that comes from outside testing, such as a stated rollout percentage or an official statement, is linked to its original source at the bottom of the article.
- Writing. Articles lead with a direct answer, what the feature is and who has it. Speculation is labeled as speculation. Unconfirmed release dates are stated as unconfirmed, never estimated as fact.
Our Standards on Dates and Claims
- Release dates are never guessed. If WhatsApp or Meta has not confirmed a date, the article says so directly.
- Publish dates are not changed to fake freshness. If an article is updated, the change is noted in an update log at the bottom of the article, and the original publish date stays visible.
- Version numbers are only published when confirmed, either through direct testing or an official changelog.
Corrections
If a factual error is found in any article, it will be corrected as soon as possible. Substantial corrections are noted in the article’s update log with the date of the correction.

Sources We Rely On
- WhatsApp’s official blog and in-app changelogs
- Meta’s official newsroom and communications
- WABetaInfo, for early beta-tracking signals, always credited when used
- Direct hands-on testing on the author’s own devices
What This Site Will Not Do
- Publish a release date that has not been confirmed
- Rewrite another outlet’s article without independent verification or added value
- Use clickbait headlines that overstate what a feature does
- Alter a publish date to simulate fresh content without an actual update
